Meet Dr. Marcin Jarmoc
Dr. Jarmoc is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Microbiology and Cell Science. He graduated Tufts University School of Dental Medicine cum laude in 2007 and was a recipient of multiple merit scholarships while there. He continued his education and training at Tufts University where he completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2011.
During his dental training, Dr. Jarmoc took part in missions to Nicaragua and Honduras to serve the underprivileged people there. He also completed a month rotation sponsored by Smile Train in Dharward, India, where he received training in cleft lip and palate surgery.
Dr. Jarmoc believes in advancement of the field of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has published articles in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Journal of Massachusetts Dental Society. He has completed research projects in fields of orthognathic surgery and pathology and presented them at the AAOMS meeting in 2010. He is also a part-time clinical instructor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of dental medicine teaching residents dental implant placement, removal of wisdom teeth, anesthesia, and trauma surgery.
He holds hospital appointments at Merrimack Valley hospital and Tufts Medical Center. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Trauma Society and Merrimack Valley Dental Society. He is certified in ACLS, PALS and ATLS.
Dr. Jarmoc practices broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in dental implants, minor and major bone grafting procedures, orthognathic surgery, trauma, pathology, pre-prosthetic surgery and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Jarmoc is currently accepting patients and is available Monday through Friday.
